On the 7th of July (that's this coming Tuesday) it is my (n00j's) birthday.
Luckily for all our lovely UKotaku listeners I have made it easy for you by creating and Amazon wish list so that you simply buy me my presents direct from this link: http://shortner.com/2pg
I know I am too good you guys, making it so easy for you to buy my presents!
PLEASE NOTE: Any one who ever has or will listen to this podcast is legally and morally obligated to purchase at least one present for n00j on this coming n00j day. Failure to do will result in the end of the universe, thank you.
UKotaku is back after a million years of slackness and failure to produce... But we are back on form (despite some more bloody issues with Skype) to bring you a rip-roaring new ep!
This show we (n00j, Briggy and Zune) talked about Wintereenmas (the gaming holiday) and of course the games we shall be playing during it. We also chatted a bit about movies, anime remakes, other general geekery and of course ALcon 2009. We also played a couple of tasty tunes from the PSMN.
This episode I left the good ship Yuko in the capable hand of Captain Briggles who a good hours worth of meandering otaku based chit-chat. The show was harder to edit than usual (thanks guys) and plagued by some very odd technical difficulties, that will teach me to skive off...
The guys (and gals) chatted alot about games and a little about manga and anime too, plus we broke the chatter with our usual choice pick of the PSMN.
We had some trouble uploading this file, sorry to anyone who listened to the quarter of a file that got uploaded originally, this is now the full show...
Series 2 Xmasu Special! We talked about our expected / known xmasu gifts, packed in two whole in-depth anime reviews and talked at great length about Fallout 3.
We also introduced out newest member of the ota-crew; Monty. This probably female welsh-taku astounded us with the size of her ota-brain providing in-depth insight into anime and general otaness. Monty we salute you!
And as always we played a selection of Japanese new-music, not forgetting a cheesey xmasu number of course!
We are back! After a long break and some serious changes UKotaku is back with "Season 2" and whole new era of podcasting for your listening pleasure. We have now joined forces with the mighty MGAC to bring you a whole new angle of otaku flavoured goodness. This week myself (n00j) and Briggy chatted a bit about where the show will go from here, a little about anime, gaming and our new super secret podcast project.
Sorry about the quality, Briggy is a bit low in the mix and my mic sucks right now, but due to geography we are having to record our podcasts over Skype and I am not quite used to the recording software yet, I promise next show will be up to our usual standard of audio perfection (well as much as Skype can provide anyway)
As always we played some interesting music for you too!
EDIT: After a disagreement regarding this shows content some of the file has been modified. My apologies for the brief period in which the show was unavailable while the new version was uploaded.
This is another Jadetastical Musicaloid Speshiru. This time Jade talks about going to London to see Plastic Tree and the recent "Taste of Chaos" gig in Norwich featuring MUCC. We also managed to drag Sum0 out of bed for long enough to speak to us and got Briggy of MGAC involved again too.
As always we had our usual mix of Japanese music plus a little bit of American music too!
This show we talked at great length about the internet, from our first experiences to present day. We felt this was a subject dear to all of hearts and enjoyed a trip down the memory super highway (ahahah, getit?).
Myself, Girutaku and Sum0 were joined this week by super special guest Briggy from the MGAC podcast.
We also suffered some stuttering problems with the audio, this will be fixed next time, so don't worry if it skips, your iPod is not broken!
Ok, so here it is my lovely people, the ALcon 2008 special. A big thanks to Yuura and Raynn for joining us on this show! And of course a massive thanks to all those who staffed and attended ALcon 08, thus making it the awesomeness that it was.
We also talked a bit about music, games and other stuff too. As always we broke up our drivel with the top picks of Japanese hotness from the Podsafe music network.
Also, Lucy is lovely...
